Who we look for
Every Cardinal officer is carefully selected and vetted. We look for people who are educated to the level their role requires, medically and physically fit, disciplined, and courteous with the public. Our operatives are retrained regularly so their skills stay current.
Roles across our services
- Security officers
- Static guarding and access control at client sites and events.
- Security drivers and escort commanders
- Planned, tracked movements for clients and their staff.
- Close protection officers
- Personal protection for principals.
- Maritime security personnel
- Armed and unarmed security for offshore operations. Naval or special operations experience is an advantage.
- Control room operators
- Monitoring CCTV, alarms, guard tours and vehicle tracking around the clock.
- Security systems technicians
- Installing and maintaining CCTV, access control, tracking and intrusion detection systems.

What happens next
- Shortlisting. We review your application against the role.
- Interview. Shortlisted candidates are invited to interview.
- Vetting. We carry out background and reference checks and confirm medical and physical fitness.
- Training. New officers are trained before they are deployed.
